All this week we’ve been featured at A Rule of Tum’s Burger Shop pop-up in St Johns Place, Hay-on-Wye. During the early days of HALFKEY we ventured to Hay with the aim of climbing Hay Bluff, how difficult would it be right? On a normal day it's a lovely hike with spectacular panoramic views of Herefordshire & Powys, as well as a multitude of wildlife, but on this day we were hit with rain as cold as ice and wind so powerful it nearly sweeps you off the mountain. We tried and failed left cold and defeated, but the great thing about Hay is the friendly welcome that soon warms you up when you reach the town, it’s one of our favourite haunts.

A Rule of Tum and HALFKEY make great friends, our brands share common values that include quality, creativity and passion.  So the opportunity to join them at St Johns Place selling our tee's made perfect sense. With their support and after many conversations over beer and coffee, we realised that the HALFKEY pop-up at Hay was just the beginning, be sure keep an eye out for the Hereford Indie Festival launching later this year.

If you haven’t been to Hay Festival, it’s one definitely to put on your bucket list. The festival spans over 10 days and is one of the biggest literary and arts festivals in the world and it turns the ‘Town of Books’ into a beautiful rural hub of everything from food and drink to politics.

Not only have we been working on bringing you more products, we’ve also been working on some changes to how we do business, moving to a more sustainable and eco-conscious supplier, with more details to follow soon!
